As part of our VIRTUAL TOUR services, we provide schematic floor plans for both Residential and Commercial use.

The 3D data platform automatically performs stitching, colour adjustments, white balancing, and more... Plus, each space automatically includes:

  • 3D digital twins - accurate 3D models of real world spaces

What is 360 Photography?

A 360° photo is a controllable panoramic image that surrounds the original point from which the shot was taken. 360° photos simulate being in the shoes of a photographer and looking around to the left, right, up and down as desired as well as sometimes zooming.

Why would I need this?
 

With the arrival of specialised 360° cameras and apps, as well as the option to easily share them on Facebook, 360° photos became widely used in various fields.

 

Here are just a few places where having 360° skills would be extremely valuable:

  • Wedding/event photography – An original service to offer your clients.

  • Interior photography – Interior designers, hotels, estate agents, and basically any business in the tourist industry.

  • E-commerce – Product overviews, as well as “behind the scenes” store interiors.

  • Social media – Many brands experiment (and succeed) with creative 360° photography to engage with their online audience.

  • Nature and Landscape photography – If the mountain doesn’t come to Muhammad, he can experience it with a virtual tour.

Experience Matterport in VR

Virtual Reality is one of the best ways of experiencing a Matterport Space. So we are quite excited to tell you that Showcase now has a new VR Mode, optimized for the Oculus Quest VR headsets.

​

The new VR mode includes:

​

  • Higher Visual Quality: Matterport Spaces have never looked so good in VR, utilizing the full native resolution if you have an Oculus Quest.

  • Walk anywhere: Visitors can walk anywhere in the Space, and no longer have to follow the VR Path (the blue spheres).

  • 360° View Support: Visitors can see and navigate to your 360° Views, just like in normal Showcase.

  • Better seated experience: You can now use the thumb stick on your controller to turn around, rather than swivel your entire body.

The new VR mode works best on Oculus Quest, but also works on Oculus Go.  No need to install an app, all you have to do is go to a Space in the browser in the headset and click “Enter VR”.

Why do we recommend the Oculus Quest?

​

Oculus Quest is the newest and most popular headset from Oculus, and is a great combination of comfort and performance. Matterport Spaces simply look and feel the best in Quest.

​

Dose Matterport VR support other headsets than Oculus?

​

The new VR Mode is built on the WebXR standard, so in theory other headsets that support WebXR and have controllers will also likely work.
